Intuition in Palmistry. Not Wikipedia.

A subject that has occupied many of us who practice as Palmistry Consultants is how far the readings should follow the features on the hand, and what part if any ought to be played by intuition in the developement of the Palmistry Reading. There are those who say that Palmistry is a science and that the lines on a hand, or the colours or shape of a hand determine exactly what conclusions that may be drawn from a reading of the said hand. These people say that every conclusion that can be come to in palmistry must always be backed up absolutely with reference to the particular hand feature that leads one to that conclusion. I'm afraid that I do not find myself absolutely in agreement with this stance. My feeling on the matter is that although the features that can be discerned on the hand, and the overall shape, colour etc of the hand are of very great importance in making a judgement; in fact nobody can claim to be a palmist who is not fully conversant with the condition of the hand; there are times when the element of intuition can play a critical part in the judgement that the Palmistry Expert makes. An overall feel for the client may be recieved based on the condition of the hand and the palmists own somewhat intangible sense of what is the right judgement to make. This is not always backable by reference to specific hand features. This is what I call intuition in Palmistry, and unless a Palmistry Consultant is gifted with this, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of hands, he/she can never hope to succeed.
